Merry CHRISTmas!

Merry CHRISTmas everyone! One of the things I think about this time of year is John 3:30, "He must increase, but I must decrease." I think of the word Christmas in two parts: Christ and mas. I think of the last part in the sense of the Spanish word for "more", which is más. Thus, I see Christmas as "more Christ." So, Merry Christmás everyone!

No problem We're very possessive about our snow when we gets it here in Tennessee. You can't have a flake!

I hheard some stuff that this is a blizzard blown down from the arctic and had the *potential* to dump 2 feet of snow on us! Luckily that didn't happen but we still got a couple inches and -5 F temperatures.

I bet all those Heater guys are working like mad! A snowflake hit the ground so everybody ran for the thermostat...and half of them didn't come on!
I'm not on call tonight sic, lol.

Merry Christmas to you JackrabbitSlim and to all of you from freezing South Carolina. 26 degrees right now as I am typing this. Thank God the rain stopped before the temps feel as we would of had freezing rain and probably snow on top of that. Winds were around 45mph lost electric for about eight hours on Friday, but came back on in time for me to do some baking. Had a mess out in the yard with some small downed limbs and the wind shredded my blind on the porch with plastic pieces all over the place. What a mess, but all cleaned up today. I lost one decoration on the porch that flew away to infinity and beyond. Had to redo the garland and the wreaths on the fence and the wreath on the windows, but at least they didn't travel away.

Life is good here. Could be worse if we were still living in PA. brrrrrr!!!!!

I can see that my trashcan has blown down the alley a bit. I didn't venture out to go carry it back yet, lol. Maybe tomorrow. It's supposed to start getting warmer again now!

Thank you. Use to run to SC a lot when I was trucking. That's a beautiful state as well, although, I'm not to fond of Columbia. Been to PA several times as well. I don't think there's a flat, straight road longer than 5 miles in that entire state! Been extremely cold here in Central Texas, but as long as ice and snow stays away, I have no complaints. Still cautious of our power grid however. They haven't done much-if anything-since it crashed a few winters ago. Y'all stay safe and warm. Walk in the light as He is in light!
