Michael Jackson

What do you think of Michael Jackson?

I think he was very talented in the field of music.

I think he was a very unhappy little boy from an unhappy home. I think he quit maturing at an very early age.
I think he was emotionally very ill and eventually lead to him doing things that were unhealthy for himself and those in his life and to his demise.

I wish he would have known Jesus.

I like a few of his songs that I have heard. Beat It, the Thriller, and a couple others. He was definitely talented.
As for his character? Doesn't seem it was too commendable from what I know/have heard about him.

Michael Jackson was a man of compassion. He touched boys in a very special way.

Okay I know, that was bad. I'll shut up now. lol :p

I think they smeared him about the little boy and then *maybe* killed him. I don't like his genre of music.

boys, he was sued twice. he also found that it wasn't wrong to sleep in the same bed with a boy who wasn't his own son or grandson and wasn't scared. nevermind at 4 a child need not have to be in the same bed. jaci is two. I wouldn't sleep with her in my bed. she does nap with my wife. when its nap time at times.

My grandson is nine and at eight he'd still come in and cuddle up with us and go back to sleep sometimes. He hasn't done that with us in awhile but he does a lot with his mom. Heavens my middle daughter still did that when she was 16.

That medicine Michael was taking to put him to sleep at night isn't that a sedative they give people just before an operation to knock them out.. Something must have been bothering him i mean really bothering him..:confused

I think his life bothered him, it was nice in the beginning but he never couldnt even go shopping like a normal person. Not a single privacy, he said that hes happiest at concert but falls in depression afterwards because they doesnt leave him alone

I agree with you brother. The child sleeps in his own bed or with the momma.
I can't pretend to know a whole lot about MJ, I'm not fond of his music, and didn't really follow his current events too much, but I did see a video or two where he was talking about having difficulties with the Hollywood execs., and that they were angry at him for something or other and he was worried about it, you could see it in his body language very clear. Hollywood is like that too, if you're not with them 100% and bow to their every want, they smear you in the media. I may be wrong, who knows?

I like Weird Al's spoofs of Jackson's music better, but that's just personal preference.

Michael Jackson wasn't allowed a normal childhood, so when he came of age & could make the break from his family, he leaped at the opportunity. However, he surrounded himself with 'yes' men, and because of the nature of the music business, those 'yes' men would not tell him 'no' when he really needed to hear it. After a point, he also started believing his press, which means that when his star was dimming, he believed he had to do more (including some bizarre) in order to get the good press again.

Justin Bieber is merely the latest who has started on the same destructive path that Michael did. Will Bieber survive? Only our Lord holds that answer.

The music/movie/tv landscape is littered with the names of former child stars who couldn't survive getting older. And in the cases for so many of them, they had hanger-ons who said 'yes' when they should have said 'no'.

And when you add in alcohol and illegal drugs into the mixture, one can easily end up paranoid, with some serious emotional and psychological issues.

What do you think of Michael Jackson?

Michael Jackson died a few years ago and someday he and the Lord are going to get together and have a discussion regarding what he did or didn't do.

No one knows the condition of Michael Jackson's heart prior to his last breath.

We should leave it like that.
