Not near as dramatic and heart warming...but i believe this to be a miracle
We live in a very rural area... to give you and example it is almost 3 hours to the closest walmart...
For many reasons we had talked about selling and moving closer to so called civilization. Homes here can be on the market for a year or 2... I asked DH ... Are you serious about moving... he said yes that was April 1 or 2 We made a phone call ask Sarah if she wanted to buy our home .. she said no money is tight... about 10 minutes later her DH called and said we will be up the first of May to talk about buying.. Well they came up about 800 miles .. last week !.... our home is in escrow... This home is over 120 years old.. they offered to buy it as is... needing a few things like paint..some roofing on the west side... barn needs a roof.. . big ol 2 story farm house.. no realtor fees ( Sarah is a realtor) Cash offer ..
I asked God to put the doors there and i would start opening them.. Our offer on the new home was accepted and we should open escrow tomorrow... We needed to down size ... I am still in shock ... Praise the Lord the new house does not have stairs...

Thank you for sharing, Reba. Miracles are not usually big and bold. I have, because God marked me out and I'm stubborn in nature, been privileged to see and to be in the middle of such dramatic miracles. On the smaller and some will say routine level, I know the doctors, two of them, that pronounced me sixty days from terminating are not stupid, they are Neuro Surgeons and yet, here I am, I think about five years later. Every day I awaken, it is another miracle, sort of become routine in the Taylor house.

I firmly believe people do not see miracle because they do not want to.

We are moving to a simple 3 bed 2 bath home.. on 1/4 acre standard lot... from 2 1/2 acres 2 story house ... we are taking mom . Mom is 91 .. this will be fun :neutral

I honestly believe it will be an inconceivably majestic place. The common misconception is that each of us that are save will have our own mansions but if we study the wording of the original manuscripts the wording indicates a room in God's mansion. I have tried to imagine what it must be like and then I remember that none of us that have never gained entry into the throne room have no basis to even imagine the glory found theere.

It wil, I believe, expand our imaginations of what is awesome.

So glad for you!
I, too, had to give up using stairs last year! Praise God! I am now housed in a ground floor apartment that faces east, so sun in the window in the mornings!

Some miracles are loud and big and wondrous.
Others simply knock yer sox off.
But I find quiet miracles in life these days to be comforting.
20 or so years ago, I was a young single mom without Jesus to help me get through each crisis over having been left flat by my former husband.
I had to drive home on a curving, extremely icy road late one afternoon following a work day.
I had studs on the tires and a big, heavy vehicle, but I simply could not seem to make it safely past one curve in time to miss traffic.
I was mid spin-out, the car swerving wildly on the slick surface of that road, when something inside my mind said, "I need God's help stat!"
So I said, "God, please will you take the wheel?"
and He did so!
A minor miracle, but still, to my way of thinking a real one. I was finally able to make it to safety and then got back to the house.

Not sure the Lord would've used the gun, but it finally got the authorities to quit wanting to give up.

I believe that what we see here is a classic example of normal Christianity.

Miracles do not need to be earth shaking to be real miracles. It's either a supernatural event or it is not. We are the conduit for God and the Kingdom. Faith is the activator wherein one will believe that it will happen...or not. Then it will, or will not happen. That's why Jesus would tell people to go and let it be so according to your faith.

I always thought there would be no need for food in heaven with the new bodies but, that indicates otherwise. Or is it that it won't be necessary but we can still eat?

Sounds so good to me.

I'm sorry brother but I might be wrong but you seem to have tied this passage to Heaven and it is not so. We must always remember context plus context and finally, context. If we back up just a bit we find no more weeping in Jerusalem and other ear marks that place this passage in the 1,000 year reign of the Christ on the Earth before it's destruction and restoration, all before Heaven descends to be found on the Earth.

This puts me into a new research mode. I thought of Matthew first, but went for John, then found I had the right idea to begin with!
