Moral question I would like answered by Christians

You're, this is a moral issue and God says that, even, little lies, commonly known as White Lies, are wrong. And if you fail to admit your lose to the owner you owe the owner for the tire, whether he knows it or not. If you explain your lose and attempts to locate it is, then, incombate that he locate the knife before it ruins a 7 or 8 hundred dollar tire.

If he, also, is unable to locate it or says forget it, you have passed responsibility off to him... you are cleared.

Dear Brother Joe32, we are not under law, and we read in:

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:10, For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Now we do have a conscience that can hinder us from entering into having God’s best for us, and if what you are describing is harmful to you spiritual walk, you won’t need advice to remedy it.

For instance, the converted Jews had a real problem with certain meats, and as to whether the meat had been offered to idols, though it had no power over them any longer in Christ, and so we read in 1 Cor 10:25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

When we feel guilty before God we hesitate to approach Him in the freedom we have.

Blessings in Christ Jesus.

I don't see a question, I see the post was edited though.

If Bill is responding to a question about it being OK to lie, then it's no question. Deception is wrong, no matter what you want to call it.

It's a game.
You try to guess the OP by the people's responses.
So far I've got something about lying, a tire, and a knife.
Guess correctly and you win 100 trophy points.
Guess wrong and you....
