P.S. If you intended "rebuking" me, why did you not first follow the Biblical model and approach me directly, in private (via PM) as the Bible would suggest?
You are 100% correct and I apologize for not sending this privately first. I ask that you forgive my transgression.
Norm

No problem Norm. I look forward to continuing this in PM.

Regards
Gary

Now I feel left out! :sad It is the right avenue to take, but I still feel left out.

Solo said:
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. James 1:13-18

I think you hit it on the head Solo. I think (opinion) that a big part is about being tempted because none of us are above being either tempted or decieved.
I think that this is why we have to be grounded in the bible, and the bible only.

NRoof,
Thanks for your input. It's good to read your posts. :D
Gary,
Thanks for being the watch dog. It takes a village to raise a child.

Thanks Stovebolts,
We can all come undone and walk in the flesh, and we do; the problem is when we continue in such a state whereby it affects our life and all those around us. Sin is pleasurable for a season, but then it becomes very ugly. The flesh is corrupt and mortal, but the born again soul abides in Jesus Christ. Praise God. Walk in the Spirit and do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
God Bless you and yours,
Michael

Going to an autopsy will scare you straight for a season as well....

It is hard to be happy about sinning after seeing the true reality of the death of flesh....

I will be being re-baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints this Sunday at 4:00.

Yep, I really did leave. But I am correcting that mistake.

Sounds to me like you're returning to the hog trough. Very, very foolish. Plenty of slop awaits I'm sure. Do you think the Bible is inferior to the Book of Mormon? Do you believe that God was once a man and that you can become a god? Do you believe that God has a physical body with which He cohabits with wives, having spiritual children which are born on this earth as human beings. God and Mary had physical relations--she was His wife? How about Satan and Jesus being spiritual brothers? Orson Pratt believes this as did the cult leader Joseph Smith...liar extraordinaire

If you believe any of the above, you are not of the Christian faith. There's no need to sugar coat this. LDS are as much a cult as JW, Roman Catholicism or Buddhism. Mormonism as other cults, teach another gospel and another Jesus. All have the truth available to them and they walk away to their own peril.

2 Peter 2:22 (KJV) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

wooo someone left the LDS and is coming back? Oh that is sad sad, certainly they are deceived.
