Mr. & Mrs. Restaurant

One of our bible studies condems such a behavior. It's a very bad behavior.

What do you think about a couple who usually, (individually), feeds in restaurants??

Can't they cook at home? Some women call it: sheer laziness.

i am a homebuddy type so i always love to prepare and eat at home.

But my present situation right now that i am living alone and far from my family so sometimes and not often times i ate at the restaurant and fastfoods... really have no choice :-(

There are perfectly valid reasons for eating in a restaurant... I can think of a few that apply to myself.

- Very seldom home, due to a busy schedule during the school year. I can eat out or starve :P

- Living alone, it's sometimes fun to eat with other people

- I can't cook to save my life!

I don't understand the Laziness angle since the people would be paying for the meal with money they earned from a job anyway. I thought that was the point of payment in a capitalistic society. You choose the rewards of your labor. :)

Agreed. The argument only leads me to believe the one wasting time talking about people who eat out are jealous of the ability of others to purchase things, or are spending too much time gossiping about why someone doesn't agree with someone else's view of where to purchase (restaurant or grocery store) food . Is this same person also in disagreement with the grocery store that the food to be prepared at home is purchased from? I am actually amazed that this was even brought up.

That's a smart reply. Hehe.

The kitchen thing takes a lot of patience.

What do we think if a mother who has all the time in the world goes outside always and buys some food for the family but seldom cooks?

Gordon Ramsey would have a fit if he heard you say that.

:lol
I think I cook better than Ramsey.

(One of the things that bring my dad home is the wife's kitchen charms and magic.)

This great mom, still alive, hates it when we buy food outside or spend our money outside - unless it is done out of emergency.

So, Ramsey, sorry, you can't charm my dad. Only that woman, mom, has the magic.

Well, time for me to head home and whip up a little magic as well. Tonight's magic:

Sliced Kielbasa, browned until just sligtly crisped
Chopped onion, fresh mushrooms, fresh spinach and fresh bell pepper sautee'd in a dab of olive oil until tender
2 cans of low sodium Cream of Mushroom Soup with just enough milk added
all mixed together with cooked egg noodles

with a side of fresh veggie salad and iced tea.

Not only does the hubby love this, both the son and daughter do as well and it's insanely easy to prepare.

This kind of dish would definitely make people come home earlier. (I hope those kids would concentrate in church on Sunday) lol
