My anxiety problems ...

I've seriously got bad anxiety problems, I can't see life as a reality and I'm thinking all the time that I don't exist and this all is just illusion. It's pretty hard to explain how is it but if you ever felt lonely and like falling into the dark, I feel that everyday.

There's millions of questions that I'm wondering all the time that makes me feel uncertain, such as what's time what is this universe, planets everything makes me anxious because I just can't understand anything. It feels weird that I'm having great time with friends and soon it's night and i'm alone in my bed and i'm crying and thinking that did it really happen.

This is hard times, only thing that makes sense to me is Christianity but I'm still anxious everyday. I wanted to open myself in this forum because I think here's trust able people, thanks for listening, well reading.

I suspect 3 things based on similar incidences when I used to have severe anxiety:

1) you are probably very young yet and trying to sort things out and until one has a sense of who they are and how things work this becomes uncomfortable.
2) You may have a physical thing going on, possibly nutritional or at the very least least hormonal goings on that makes one more that way. You'd be surprised what that does--- an old crusty guy like me nothing bothers any longer :lol (meet me in the health section for insight on that based on a lot of my posts)
3) You may have been exposed to the mantra preaching "If you don't believe in Christ and died tonight, where would you spend eternity?" So, not having things sorted out (which is normal for a young person) of course it would make one feel anxious because one wonders if he has the right faith or right kind of faith lest something accidental happens and a merciful God would "righteously" judge him to eternal torment forever and ever and ever, Amen and amen! That would give anyone great anxiety not understanding death and the afterlife. Well, good news. You can toss out reason #3 here because those are based on Greek legends and heathenism. It's not biblical. So if that bothers you, don't let it tonight.

What you have to do is fearlessly search God's Word, find the right answers (and you will find much of what is being taught is not even biblical) If you seek to search out these matters, God will guide you to the right place. It has to be His way on His time, and His calling. Don't worry about "what if I died tonight... " nonsense. That's man trying to force God on man's time. God will not let one thing happen sooner than you are ready, and will be given every opportunity. In short, you'll be just fine in the end--- it's brighter than it looks.

Within anxiety Satan loves to sneak in and confound the mind as he twist it and turns it into mesh-mash of total confusion. Who am I, what am I, why am I here repeats in your mind like a broken record that repeats itself when it gets scratched and that's what you are right now is a scratched record in need of repair.

What I would like you to do, if you will, is write down at least five things that you question the most. Now pick up that paper and pray over it asking the Holy Spirit to give you scripture to answer your questions. You will probably need a concordance to help you. Now after you have prayed and laid these questions before the feet of Jesus open up your Bible and with your concordance look up that which you wrote down. When you find the answer to the first question write it down beside the question and move on to the others one at a time. When you have found your answers then you will come to know who you are in the Lord and what purpose you have here on earth and will never have to doubt that which you wrote down.

God bless you on your search and will keep you in my prayers for this:pray
