Please be in prayer for my sister and her husband. He just left for his first deployment to Iraq this morning, and he will be gone for a year. He is infantry. They have 3 young sons, who also will be missing their father. :verysad

to country or to the mob station?

I'm not sure what you mean by mob station, and I'm not sure what area he is going to be in.
one must train up in the national guard and reserves before boots on ground. this is done one yr before the actual departure for country. its always a reserve or active duty base. there the unit is checked for indivual soldier health, and some retraining is done.

for me it was one month a ft. dix, nj.

No Jason, he's on his way straight to Iraq. He isn't with the reserves or national guard, he's with the regular army. He and his family have been stationed in Co for about 2 months for his training.
