My cell phone...a friend or an enemy?

Is your cell phone your most precious friend? Or is it an enemy?

It is obvious that cell phones are becoming man's most precious and valued asset.
Cell phone technology has seen great success today, and consumers buy them in great quantities.
Some have a single phone where others have two or more.
A very limited number of people do not have.

Out of every 50 adults you have up to 48 people who possess at least one.

In certain countries, 3 year old children are allowed to possess a cell phone.

Cell phones radiate what is called Electomagnetic field waves (EMF W).
They require our natural EMF to Work and send data.


There has been a great debate. Some believe that this radiation produced by these cell phones is dangerous to your health. (This is based on the amount of radiation from the device). Others do not agree.


Some in the medical world argue that radiation produced by cell phones are dangerous to health while some others in the same medical world disagree with this.

Experiments have been conducted and proofs made about the dangers of EMF W - as argued by some of the medical people. This has been controversial.

Some of the engineers who produce them seem to be hiding some information.

What is the government doing about the situation?

Some argue the government is playing politics here - and would not take serious measures.

What is the politics? 'Money made from the technology' is the priority as most people argue.

I performed an experiment on one of my old cell phones some years back. I called the cell phone with another phone and was alarmed at my result. My detector could sense the radiation from over a distance of 350cm.

Before the experiment I'd noticed I was formerly having extreme burning sensation at my right profile - just at the ear and cheek regions whenever I used the phone.
I discontinued using the device after this.

However my other cell phones had readings less than 40cm from the position of the detector.
(The detector never measured exact value of the radiated. It only senses it)

I am not a medical person. I have some medical friends who have warned us to be careful and limit our use of cell phones.

Yeah, I think that's one carcinogen that most people, including myself, won't give up. But then again, I don't walk around with it glued to my ear, either, the way I see some people. I have, for a long time now limited my usage because I noticed the famous "cell phone headache" when I used it over 5 minutes and figured that beings they are microwaves were probably starting to cook some of my cells a little. If I have to go over 5 minutes (which is very rarely), I'll use speaker phone. As of now, I probably use the phone for talking less than 5 times a month, if that, and I text way more often instead.

Since I keep it in my pocket half the time on my working days, we'll see if one day I'll get hip cancer or something like that --- but the articles seemed to notice a questionable increase mostly in the head area, and my cell phone is rarely in that area.
