No doubt about it, jasonc ... dogs - and pets, for that matter - smile and wink. My youngest had a pet hamster named Jack who used to smile .... he could make funny faces, too, for our enjoyment.

I have a Chihuahua, too. She only likes about 4 people and ignores everyone else. LOL

I am pleased your dog is better. We humans often suffer from allergies, but I think we can lessen the effect of our allergies if we take good care of ourselves. Same would go for taking good care of our pets, I think.
