If the dream were prophetic, you would not forget it. Thus it stands to reason that it wasn't because you forgot some details.
Unless Daniel or Joseph have been reincarnated, no one can "interpret your dream for you".

There is a big sink hole on that road which you are on. By traveling on it, you can endanger your vehicle, or something else.
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Please heed the warning of Scripture.
Your warning is well taken brother and I do agree that we should be very careful with looking to dreams for messages from God. It can be dangerous to one and must be approached prayerfully and carefully. however, I do not think that it should be dismissed entirely out of fear. There's a right way and a wrong way to go about it.
First off, to establish that God does indeed use dreams to speak to us, of course, we will go to the scriptures.
Acts 2:17-18
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:/(KJV)
Are we in agreement that these are the last days? If we are, then, what does this scripture mean? A far as Daniel and Joseph are concerned (there is no reincarnation), what makes you think that they are the only ones who could interpret a dream? (Scripture please.)
There's a lot of scriptures where God used dreams to speak to His people in the bible. (Genesis 37:5-10 Matthew 2:12-22 1 Kings 3:5-15 Daniel 2:1 7:1 Matthew 27:19 in Joel 2:28 (quoted by Peter in Acts 2:17 mention God using dreams, so God can use dreams to speak to His people if He chooses to do so. However, we must keep in mind that the Bible is complete, having revealed everything we need to know from now until eternity. This is not to say that God does not work miracles or even speak through dreams today, but anything God says, whether through a dream, vision, impression, or “still small voice,” will agree completely with what He has already revealed in His Word. Dreams cannot usurp the authority of Scripture.
If you have a dream and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully examine the Word of God and make sure your dream is in agreement with Scripture. If it is, prayerfully consider what God would have you do in response to your dream (
James 1:5). In Scripture, whenever anyone experienced a dream from God, God always made the meaning of the dream clear, whether directly to the person, through an angel, or through another messenger (
Genesis 40:5–11;
Daniel 2:45;
4:19). When God speaks to us, He makes sure His message is clearly understood.
Job 33:14-17
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man./(KJV)
What I find interesting about this statement is that when God speaks in dreams
man may not perceive it. We often treat dreams as junk mail. We quickly dismiss our dreams as unimportant, when in fact, God may have sent us a message. God sends messages to us in dreams in order to protect us from impending disaster, change a lifestyle we've been living, or perhaps guide us in a direction to take. It would not be wise to teach ourselves to ignore messages from God.
God works by means of faith. If you have faith that God will do something in His Word, then He will do it. The reason many believers don’t have many dreams from the Lord is because they don’t have faith in them. Exercise your faith for dreams.
Start by asking God for dreams. You have not because you ask not.
Expect that you will have dreams from God.
Put your faith into action by placing a notebook and pen next to your bed, and when you have a dream, write it down. Daniel did!
In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. Daniel 7:1
There are many causes of dreams including worry.
"...a dream comes when there are many cares..."(Eccl 5:3). Satan can give counterfeit dreams, especially when the dreamer is involved in occult activities. The lust of the flesh can cause X rated dreams. Bitterness can cause dreams whereby you kill people, or fear can cause you to have nightmares.
Obviously you must use discernment to know if a dream is from God or not. And it must agree with scripture!
