[__ Prayer __] My father-in-law

I would appreciate it if some of you could take some time on Friday morning to pray for my father-in-law, who is undergoing heart valve replacement surgery. Pray for a speedy and healthy recovery, and for God to heal and strengthen his heart of hearts, (as he is most likely more of a nominal believer - but, of course, only God can truly know his heart). Pray that he would have faith in His healing hand, and that he would live a long and happy life. He is 62 years old.

Sad news - my father in law passed away about 3 weeks after his surgery. He was recovering at home and gaining strength, but one night he has a blood clot in his lung - basically he died of a lack of oxygen. My wife went to be with her mom for a couple weeks. It's been really tough on them. I would appreciate some prayers for them for grace and strength in this difficult time.

He was a believer, and we take comfort in knowing he is spending eternity praising Jesus with the host in heaven.
