my hope

All that is within me cries
For you alone be Glorified

Mercy Me

this is God city singing . Crowder sings it to .

here is the words
All My Hope

I've been held by the Savior
I've felt fire from above
I've been down to the river
I ain't the same, a prodigal returned

All my hope is in Jesus
Thank God that yesterday's gone
All my sins are forgiven
And I've been washed by the blood

I'm no stranger to prison
I've worn shackles and chains
But I've been freed and forgiven
And I'm not going back, I'll never be the same
That's why I sing
All my hope is in Jesus
Thank God that yesterday's gone
All my sins are forgiven
I've been washed by the blood

There's a kind of thing that just breaks a man
Break him down to his knees
God, I've been broken more than a time or two
Yes, Lord then
Then He…

ignore the bottom numbers i failed to remove them when i placed the words they are links to web pages

Absolutely wonderful!
My wife gets a lot of facebook notifications for all of the Christian events in our area (40 mile range) and you would be amazed at how many gospel singers travel the country from church to church. I'm sure we caught at least three gospel groups this year and every one of them was uplifting!
Thanks for sharing.

Heck, with Branson in your state, I would think you would have a lot of talent coming your way!
I live in a small community just over 50 miles north of Detroit, yet we get groups from TN come through several times a year. If it weren't for my wife getting the facebook notifications, we wouldn't know about any of them.
I'm not sure if your on facebook, but if you pull up events near you and start liking them, then all of a sudden facebook learns what you like and automatically notifies you when cool events, such as gospel singers are in your area.
Check it out :-)

There is just something special about southern gospel that nothing else can match it as it comes from the soul. Other types come from the soul, but just not like southern gospel. It was big around here in the 70's, but not so much anymore with all the Christian contemporary which I also like.

A church I use to go to there were three of us girls that sang and our two favorite songs were Shout to the Lord and Firefall by Carman. It was very hard to keep standing when we sang Firefall as the moving of the Holy Spirit was so powerful in us. They use to tease us saying they were going to buy adult Barbie doll stands for us because we were always about to be slain in the Spirit as we fought completely falling down in the Spirit.

The term "slain in the Spirit" is found in Numbers 22:31; 2 Chronicles 5:13, 14; Ezekiel 44:4; 1:28; Matthew 17:6; John 6:5; 18:6; .

When you are in the presence of God's Holy Spirit it can cause your body to sway back and forth and go limp as the Holy Spirit engulfs you. It can cause your body to go limp so much that you fall to the floor in His presence. It's the greatest experience one could ever have.

The term "slain in the Spirit" means falling to the ground as the power of God works through the Holy Spirit and engulfs you in the actual light of the glory of the Lord as He speaks to you. Some people will experience this like I have many times as well as others and some may never experience it at all as it's usually a special anointing from God when we worship and praise Him in song or prayer, or that He has a special message for the individual.

only thing with branson some of the bigger churches away will get them as they are coming in from silver dollar city . most cases a love offering .other wise if you booked them no telling the $$$$ it would take.. for some reason around the area southern Gospel generates majority g ma g pa . that is fine but many of them are getting to point travel is hard. you would think Gold city would pack the house . last church we saw gold city if i guessed seat 500 . dont know how many showed but church might been half full . i am use to rural churches where a hundred is big crowd. . 50 is a blessing 35-40 we have a crowd lol
i will say when in branson we saw the samson theater production .that was good .it was musical i have never been to where they sing and act . next year they are doing noah going try go to that . branson is loaded in talent seen a good music show all kinds music even elvis i am anti elvis lol

That's awesome!
My wife was at a woman group last night and while i was scrolling through Facebook noticed an event my wife posted that apparently were going to go to lol!
I don't remember all the groups names, but i haven't been disappointed.

My spread of music is extremely broad. I like everything from slow and easy to bang your head lol.

i still like my classic rock country music is ok not real big on it. wife loves it she was raised on the old country . i like some contemporary. the show at branson samson was different. i had never seen a show like that
