So I live in a christian home, and I have always gone to church. To me church was all about craft, then eating, then going to a friends house. I never really understood any of it untill I truly experienced God for the first time. I was 12 and half way through year 6 when I went on a camp with the church youth group. It was amazing! It was fun and I learnt heaps but it was on the third night that I realised what all this was. I was in my tent holding back tears, I was missing home, I felt a presence next to me and I just knew it was God. I had some sudden feeling of joy wash over me and at that moment I devoted my life to God. I got baptised about a year later and now im just growing my relationship with him. I often have people saying stuff like "your to young to understand this", "you should be focusing on school, not religion" and heaps of other comments about me being to young to be christan but it hasn't affected my faith one bit, I belive that anyone can be just as good a christian as the next person no matter what their age.

Hi there; we need to make sure our experience coincides with what the Bible says. Good to read God's Word every day prayerfully, and make sure we know by faith the Lord Jesus's love for sinners.

That's great you have made God the focus of your life at a young age. I wish I had. I agree with you about young people can be strong Christians. Jesus talked about how special children were to him. Don't let other people tell you you're too young to Love and obey God.
