[__ Prayer __] My mother has cancer

TOG

Member
I just got the news this morning that my 84 year old mother has been diagnosed with malignant lung cancer. They say it's inoperable and she's so weak she may not be able to undergo other treatments. I'm going out of town tomorrow to go see her in the hospital. My father, my brother and I are going to have a meeting with the doctors to get more information and decide what to do. Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated, especially for her salvation.

I won't be online for some time, so don't be surprised if I don't respond to your posts.

May God be with you and your family at this time brother. I do pray for her healing, and especially for your witness to be effective to her receiving Christ. Dear Father, please prepare his path and words of courage according to Your will in Jesus' name. Amen.

My prayers are with you & your family, TOG.

Please keep us updated as you can as matters progress. In the meanwhile, remember our Lord is always with us, and carries us during the rough times.

Blessings!

Luke 8:50

Jesus said, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed."

As per this verse, God will surely heal your mother.

Thank you for all your prayers. My mother died peacefully at 9:45 PM last Saturday. I was by her side holding her hand when her time came. I do not know for sure whether she was saved, but God has been with me and has given me peace concerning her, more so than with other relatives and friends who have died. I believe that we will meet again. A few hours before she died, I went away for a while to get something to eat. I told her I was leaving, but that I'd be back and that she wasn't alone, because God was with her. She was unable to make any sound, but she moved her lips to say "yes". She believed in God, and I believe she knew He was with her.

Thank you again for all your prayers.

I'm sorry for your loss, TOG.

What a blessed passing, to go peacefully with you holding here hand. Our Lord never leaves us, and His loving peace that He has bestowed upon you is truly beautiful.

You & your family remain in my prayers.
