OK. So, many people in this neighborhood despise me. Honestly, I can't blame them. Until Jesus saved me and moved mightily in my life, I was fairly wretched. And miserable. But now...

...this one neighbor lady, Kathy, talked to me. At length. I parked my car out in the front yard because my dad's having workers do stuff to part of the house. Anyway, as I was getting out, she was in her yard across the little street, and we just started talking and...wow. She told me so much about herself, and I barely talked any about me, and it was soooo much better that way. I couldn't offer a whole lot of helpful input to her, but I did listen. I'm thinking I'll get her a lil easter...something. I mean, she's in her mid-60s, so an easter basket is out, lol, but...something (?).

So, this is both a Praise Report (!!!! God is GOOD!!!!) and a prayer request. I praise God for this opportunity to speak to a neighbor and offer some (I think much needed) convo, and I also pray for Ms.Kathy. Her house was broken into around Christmas and its caused her some serious distress.

And...that is all from me (for now). :-)

An Easter Lily would be a nice touch, if she has a flower bed/garden. Or a potted tulip. There are some perennials available now that would be nice.

Otherwise, an Easter basket would bring a smile to her face. Only, don't buy a pastel colored basket. (Your Mom might have a basket she doesn't use) Whatever you choose to put in the basket doesn't have to be elaborate. She'll be more pleased by the knowledge that you were thinking of her.

Keep us updated on what you decide... and her reaction!
