Did it occur to you, that you might be sinning now? By pointing the accusatory finger? You willfully live in sin? Like for example God shows you cigarettes are sinful and you keep smoking them anyways?
It is the goal we want and strive for..I thought Christians were to be washed from their sins and not committing them anymore?
Just curious.. are you a Christian? You willfully live in sin? Like for example God shows you cigarettes are sinful and you keep smoking them anyways?
I'm not accusing you of anything, you said it yourself, I am simply reproving the works of darkness as we told to. If you are making sin seem okay that is a work of darkness. God warns us few will be saved. He tells us that the lukewarm, hypocrites, unprofitable servants and the rest that commit iniquity will be cast into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Hell).Did it occur to you, that you might be sinning now? By pointing the accusatory finger?
I am a Christian. I do not live willfully in sin. If you think it's okay to abuse the grace of God, going on doing things you know are contrary to Him, you are making a grave mistake. God is not a pushover. He hates the wicked. It is the goal we want and strive for..
Be realistic yet don't loose faith!
Just curious.. are you a Christian?
If so, have you not sinned once since you got saved?
Do you know any other Christians who lives without any sin at all?
Not to be pessimistic tho. I do believe we are on the right path to release from sin.
I may even go as far as say that it is possible.
But I haven't seen anyone yet. Living completely free from sin..
What is sin?
Stealing, adultery...
What else.. I don't want to be negative but as a Christian I want to be honest with myself..
And I sin all the time. Even unconsciously. And unwilling..
Burst the buble. It's a good thing tho..
God bless no matter what!
Do not asume things about people that you don't know sir.I'm not accusing you of anything, you said it yourself, I am simply reproving the works of darkness as we told to. Psalm 11:5 KJB "The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth."
Sadly the time has come...
2 Timothy 4:3 KJB "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"
The churches all teach that worldliness, self indulgence, sin, is all A-OK with God and you'll still be saved if you live for yourself, doing your own will, instead of God's. But this is false.
1 John 2:17 KJB "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."
Any true Christian does not live willfully in sin. We are to be sanctified, living holy and righteous lives. Walking more and perfectly.
Proverbs 4:18 KJB "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."
1 John 3:6-10 KJB "6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother."
Sin is not okay. There are many false Christians, that God warned us of, that try to lead God's people down to Hell by teaching that sinning is okay, that if you keep living willfully in sin, you'll still be saved. If you know God doesn't want you to do something and you keep doing it, you are sinning, you are committing iniquity.
Matthew 7:23 KJB "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Acts 20:29 KJB "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock."
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 KJB "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great
thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;
whose end shall be according to their works."

This post needs elaboration. I need to think more deeply about my current self. I am not deliberately leading a sinful life now. But there are areas that could improve. Like all of us. We are always a work in progress. (Oops a real cliche there ) none of us reach perfection. The difference between my former self and now is my narcissism has changed into an online version. I'm just as sinful but perhaps I'm more aware of it. I need God. I'm useless without Him.
The problem is you. No I'm just joking. Hey, there is a grain of truth in what you say. I do need to not take advantage of God's mercy. That is a fair point. I need more self discipline in my life. The problem is when one makes sin seem trivial. God warns us few will be saved.
