Hi, as you can see, my name is Nathan Alterton and just joined the forum as my previous forum jumped exclusively to Facebook. I enjoy reading the discussions that develop on these pages but generally only post if I think I have something unique and substantive to say.

I have seven kids with my wife of 11 years and work as a Civil Engineer in Northern California. We attend church weekly, as well as midweek Bible Studies. While I'm not presently teaching, the majority of my last 10 years I have spent teaching both High School and Adult Sunday School classes. I was an elder in my former church (former because we moved from the area, not because we left the Church over any issue).

Now that you know a little about me, I'm excited to begin participating in this forum with the rest of you!
