Can God create a pane of glass that is not able to be broken? If yes, then he is limited by not being able to break the glass. If he can break the glass, then it was never unbreakable in the first place and is limited by not being able to create such an object.
Please... no "can God create a rock" nonsensical scenarios.
I agree with your stance in that I'm not putting my faith in NDE's, but I'm sure that Lewis nor anyone else is either. I don't know what to make of them. What I'd like to see is if these stories vary from culture to culture and are a product of their expectations. I have heard stories of agnostics experiencing something horrifying - and this was documented by physicians who were non-believers. These agnostics probably wouldn't be expecting something horrifying. I'm talking about people of other faiths. What do they say they experience?I take it all with a grain of salt. The similarity of the experiences are striking. So there's a real possibility that there's a validity to the accounts. I SURELY WOULD NOT, however try to build a theology based on nothing more substantive than "stories" reported by sources committed to proving that NDEs are real. AND, of course while SOME NDEs might BE "real" - others might not be.
