New Age Bible Versions

Is this a thread about 'a book' filled entirely with opinions by people that haven't actually read 'the book' ? lol. hilarious. Maybe someone familiar with the technical details of what makes a critic credible can explain you the aspects of how this would work in the real world,

book critics by instinct - sure gives a huge boost to the credibility of the rest of your opinions. Dear non-readers, thanks for your instincts and third party opinions, you are the absolutely sure indicator, truth is always treated that way.

If I wouldn't already had read it, i would buy that book immediately! When a crowd by instinct has a certain opinion about something they only know by hearsay or not even that much, it's got to be pure dynamite. And it is. Exposes a whole lot of other make belief and mass deception on a grand scale. And it's all nicely documented by direct comparisons, even a ignorant critc can be made to see the truth. Just because the facts all speak for themselves. You cannot actually miss it. Except if you're dead. Of course you would need to open your eyes, and actually read it, what could be a shock for many. Try it. Gives a criticism so much more actual content.
You're right, I haven't read the book. But given the content of the link I posted in the second post in this thread, I am 100% certain that I will find things to be exactly the way Mr. White has explained them. Given my study of the KJVO position, discussions with KJVOists, and reading the content of their websites, I cannot help but believe that what Mr. White says about Gail Riplinger and her book is most likely the case.

Having said that, I would read it if I didn't have to pay for it and had nothing else better to read, which is unlikely.

Have you read the entire article by James White?

Try to understand what this is about. This is about : the Bible Versions themselves are the evidence. And the content. That's the value here, and only that.

there are no further opinions required IF someone is interested in the facts on this issue, only. That means exclusively. just facts based. that means source facts only. no secondary tier blahblah.

It's like instead of looking at a show on the screen with someone talking about the smell of brazilian coffee, you actually go there and have a sip and a cup yourself

that what is different with this work - most of it is 'naked' facts directly taken FROM the bible versions - with great attention to detail - it's not dominated by opinion what the facts mean.

People attacking the author or quoting others as a substitue for the all important facts want to be called an intellectual kindergarden. And they fully deserve it, because they remain in the outer rings of 2nd 3rd and 4th layer opinions. Kids, there is nothing to be found there that matters. You got to drink a coffee to know what it tastes like, don't turn yourself into an self-proclaimed virtual illusion.

You confound me Geo. So are YOU saying that every bible other than KJV is part of the New Age. I know for a fact that that isn't true, because I've read NT in the NKJV several times, and the only thing I disagree with is the substitution of "hell" for "hades". Now they interpreted "gehenna" as hell but reinterpreted hades. That I didn't like. But other than that, I find it to be an extremely faithful rendering.

didnt you know God himself thinks in old english?

i have a solution, we all learn greek and hebrew and get the texts sent to us and then we can witness to the lost in greek and or hebrew. :crazy
