medievalglo - Praying for strength for you and guidance for your son!

Sounds like his mind is pretty made up and like many impatient young people they are looking for a way to make things happen on their own schedule. I suspect they'll quickly find out they aren't in fact asexual once they are under the same roof.
Do they share the same faith? Being equally yoked is no joke and provides a strong foundation for the life ahead of them.
I don't think you should agree outright with their decision but I would also advise remembering the times, after making a mistake, God showed his infinite grace to you.

What I've come to know and understand is that being unequally yoked isn't sinful but it isn't wise either.

I have been praying for my family. I know God's ways are not our ways and He also permits us to have freedom in them....
Family, I need support, please. Just got huge news for my family. It would not be of my choosing. My son just informed me that he wants to move out and move into his Girlfriend's Mom's place to help them financially. He says they are both "asexual". I told him I'd rather him pray about it, and honor God. He says he has. I told him I thought it better to elope quietly, since he does intend to marry her. I am praying and adjusting. praying for the wisdom power and conviction of God to move in/on your son's heart and mind as per - Psalms 25:5 - Proverbs 2:2 -

The biggest time crunch is because he resigned his job. He IS willing to marry her, he just doesn't have the money for a ring, to ask her. We are willing to help him with a ring, and help him become married, if that is what seems to be the Lord's will/guidance in keeping their resolve firm. God can still do miraculous things!! HE is faithful! My greatest desire is to remain faithful to what he asks, and encourage my family to do the same.
