I'm a Christian who has gone through a lot of trials and tribulations over the last ten years or so and just recently gave my heart to the lord again. I pretty much have always considered myself a Christian, I was raised to love Christ and to give my problems up to him. I went through a long stage of back sliding during my adolescence and up until recently I used drugs daily (I tried pretty much every kind you can imagine) but I mainly smoked marijuana. I was blind to how these drugs affected my walk with Christ, let alone how they were affecting my motivation and mental well being. One day I was feeling quite depressed as usual and decided I was through with wasting my life and I gave it up to the lord. I dumped my stash down the toilet and was done with that aspect of my life, now I'm feeling really good (better than I have felt in years) and I owe it all to the lord.I found this forum read a couple of threads and signed up!
