New member here who last week decided to take Jesus to his life!

Hello!

After 20 years of searching I last week finally asked Jesus to enter to my life. I'v been thru New Age, gnostics, Zen Buddhism and stuff but now I think I'v found my true spiritual home. :p

This site I found via Tapatalk search and I hope that I will learn more about our Lord from here too.

Thank you both! I must openly confess that my Faith is not that strong yet.

My mind/ego is constantly trying to say that "YOU ARE BEING SILLY!" but I try not to listen it, and rather just find peace with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ and God.

Your willingness to be a fool for Christ is what is going to open the door for you to have holy wisdom of God.

God honors those who humble themselves, be a fool for Christ and he will make you an extremely wise man!

Welcome to the website. Congratulations on recieving Jesus Christ as your savior. It's the aspect of knowing yourself in truth according to God's word, what you are saved from, and the grace of God that saved you. The Gospel will never let you go.

It has been harder than I expected - some days easier than others. I gues it's the Satan and his minions that try to make my path rocky. Dunno.

But anyway, seems the emptiness inside has been filled with Holy Ghost as there is no more lust for esoteric knowledge, conspiracies or things like that. I even felt that I don't need to meditate anymore, although it was the thing that helped me to survive ****ty past year or two. But now I try to discuss with God and Jesus. It has been mostly monologue, but couple of times I have had sort of answers via lyrics in music. Or then it is just coincidence. Dunno for sure. :)

1 Samuel 16:7
7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Seems HE has accepted you ( but only HE truly knows). But seeing the first fruit here, as it says in the word that GOD's spirit pushes forth ministry. If you say that GOD and JESUS seem to be your monologue, then that's HIM in you.:thumbsup:amen!! Cherish this " new creation", new celebration, and new adoration!! THE RIDE WITH THE LORD DRIVING IS AMAZING:lol:D:p!!

JOEL 2:28-32
28 “And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

your young men will see visions.

Just keep your eyes on open for the " speed bumps" HE places in front of us to test our faith. But it's only there to make us stronger. We need it.

PROVERBS 3:11-12
11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.


Lastly and firstly: PRAY first for guidance, and then GET IN THE WORD ( the BIBLE) ASAP!!:study:study !!! HE will guide you the rest of the way.
Yes, the meditating will come back. It will be useful for meditating on HIS WORD and prayer and fasting. None of our lives are in vain. What you may look down on, HE can use to help you in your new walk.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10
9 However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”
the things God has prepared for those who love him 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit

1 Corinthians 1:27-31
27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

JOSHUA 1:8
8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

HEY, in this walk. Though people talk perfect. NO ONE IS PERFECT! Dont get down on yourself for the wrongs that you do, just make sure they are getting less and less active. Make sure they are staying in the mind or only effecting you not others. This is where CHRIST shows HIS mark in our lives when we dont do evil things so easily anymore. We become aware, guilty, and dont want to do anything against anyone anymore. This is where faith takes over the flesh.

MATTHEW 26:41
41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

BUT HE knows what we are all dealing with and knows where we have all come from and where we need to go. HE is just, loving, and more... AND VERY TOLERANT!! No worries. DO YOUR BEST, and GOD DOES ALL THE REST!!

Grace and peace, and I thank GOD for all we have. Thanks for your encouragement and compliment.

Through reading and believing in the love of JESUS CHRIST. I try to live that to the best of my ability.

We are all children of GOD, so, I try to stay in that memory that JESUS says, " Be like a child to get into the kingdom of heaven". Then later He reminds us that we shouldn't do anything to make someone stumble.

MATTHEW 18:1-7
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?â€
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!


So this I love to take literally. If we watch or have children, many of them just love LOVE( as we do and did as children). If love is not around them, they are crying and screaming for Mommy or Daddy to get them away from what " seems " to be an evil ( sinful) person, place, or thing.
This is what we should do when we see sin, CRY ON THE INSIDE TO OUR FATHER in HEAVEN and RUN!! LOL!! :waveSeriously though.:yes:yes This is where children are great. :thumbsup:thumbsup!! Of course experience in life shows us how to run in love without scaring someone! ;):salute!!



Also, children are great to learn from when they are happy ( I raised three children and was a teacher for all ages from 5-80 yrs for many years). When they are joyful!! WOW!! THEY LIGHT UP THE WORLD THEY ARE AROUND and want everyone smiling with them no matter what mood others are in. This is how we should be when talking about CHRIST and knowing that HE is victorious over sin and has died to take away our sins!!:amen:amenALLELUIA:bounce!!
ALLELUIA:bounce:bounce!! LOL!!

So, GOD shows me to treat all believers ( new or old) in this way. This keeps us joyful and being that peculiar person in the world of darkness. This joy and love that surpasses all understaning will attract people to what we believe. When love is fully shown, there is no way that someone will not be attracted to it.

PSALMS 20:1-5
1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b]
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.


EPHESIANS 3:14-20
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

It's been quite a ride past few months now. I have truly felt God's presence and influence in my life. It has been very painfull experience also, becouse I have had to change basicly everything. Starting from my long term relationship that is about to end because i have met an woman who shares my religioua beliefs (my ex is sort of atheist as I used to be).

My God is everything - alpha and omega - sky and earth - in you and in me. And evil is just the experience as we drift away from God's will and love.

I don't go in details, and might not have need to come here back soon, but anyway, thank you all and many blessings to each of you!

May the Holy Spirit guide us!!!
