New Samsung Watch

Not sure if any of you have seen the ad on tv yet, but Samsung has beaten Apple to the punch in releasing the first touchscreen, watch-phone. What do you think? Will you be buying? Which carrier currently supports it?

Cool idea, not much of watch guy myself. Already have an iPhone that tells the time

I also don't think I want to have many public conversations out loud at my wrist. It will be interesting to see if the market likes it.

I used to be watch guy, but considering I always wore them "backwards" I would just end up scratching, or breaking, the screen. Plus, I prefer to use my cell phone as well.

The idea itself is pretty cool, but I wouldn't want one myself. My phone can do so much more and a watch with more functions etc. is simply not necessary for me

I'm also not sure if they did the marketing right. All the clips from the sci-fi movies and shows pulls you in at first, but for me to buy something like this I need to be sold that it's critical to being as efficient as possible. The marketing I've seen makes me feel like I need to buy it to fulfill a childhood fantasy, which isn't enough to make me buy it.

Plus I've heard it's a bluetooth watch that only works with the Samsung phone. That narrows the market pretty thin. Rumor has it, Apple is working on a watch too.
