Hello exmormon, you'll be in good company here. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). Praise God you got out of that lie of the Devil.
Don't let the lie that was told about the Truth keep you from the Truth...
I have witnessed to a good number of Mormons before.
I remember one time in particular, I let them tell me their thing and then I would have the platform to tell them the Truth. And that is what happened. The one that spoke to me was bamboozled and had no idea how to handle the questions I was asking him and then he got his 2 others and they had no idea, until they got to the leader of the guys in that area and he came in and he had no idea either.
I worked on him until he got to the point where he actually said, "Well what do you want me to do? Admit that I've been following a lie and start over?"
I replied, "YES. That is what I did - when I was 22 (I was formerly considering myself an atheist) I came into the presence of God and knew Him and apologized for wasting my life until that point and started a new life - THE life, with Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing!"
The guy wouldn't do it, and neither would the others - it was an astounding display of purposeful unbelief, like the Pharisees. But you chose the to get out, and now that you're out, you are free to come into the Truth of God, the actual Truth; as you said, only the Bible.
Jesus is real, and He is just waiting on you. You might as well choose LIFE today and start a real relationship with the actual God the Father today. You can have someone pray with you here or you could, if you want, go on over to KCM.org, which is Kenneth Copeland's website, and have them pray with you when you call in.
Anyway, God BLESS you. I hope to hear soon that you have come into the Kingdom of God and that you know Jesus personally
