Well, I'm a fairly new "Christian". I was raised in a Christian Science household, but I never really considered myself part of that religion. In fact, I did my best to steer clear of any religion up until about a year ago. I quite frequently argued against the existance of God and creationism, and considered myself mostly agnostic, albeit atheist would have probably fit the bill more acurately.

I have been trying to grasp fully what it means to be Christian, and continually strive to change my life and situation to one that is more pleasing to the Lord. It's a hard road to follow, and I'm doing my best to try and stay on it. Unfortunately, just about everything in my life is messed up in some way or another, so it's going to take awhile and require a lot of patience on behalf of myself and those around me! Let's hope we all hang in there.

Welcome to the site and remember, Christianity is about right relationships and less about following rules and regulations of any one denomination or organization.

This is one of many differences that separate Christianity from other belief systems and it's an important one:

All other systems have man seeking God. We, on the other hand, have a God that seeks Man! You find this in just about every story in the Bible. Our desire to know Him comes from His desire to know us.
