How did you get the solid black background? It's perfect!

Actually, I shot it from a very low angle, then adjusted the perspective back up to make it look like I shot it level.

Then I did a curve adjustment to make the sky blacker. I shot it in RAW so that I could make three different exposures from the shot, and used them to make an HDR image, which I then blended with the standard shot.
