Ninja Rat ! ? !

We have a kitchen garbage can with a step on lid opener . I stepped on the opener and the lid opens and suddenly a large rat ? jumps out almost on me !
Mice problems are legion this fall , anyone else having it worse than usual ? We have traps set and I am ordering more today ? .

Our cat, plus the neighbors cats pretty much keep down the mice population. Also if you use Lavender air fresheners by your garbage cans the mice hate Lavender. I use these air fresheners under my sinks in the house and also in the camper and they work, plus makes the house smell good.

Thanks ! Maybe I should look for some Lavender after shave too .
