I just got one today! :D
Unfortunately my father knows nothing of modern video games and as he's the one who bought it we only have Wii Sports and Wii Play right now. :(

And my self-esteem temporarily dropped severely because my father happened to be drunk out of his mind and annhilated me in bowling on Wii Sports. :verysad
Oh well, I'm over it now. :shrug

Get Mario Kart Wii, it's the best. If you do I'll race you some time.

I'll consider it. :-)
Right now we don't have wireless internet though and the Wii isn't in the same room as the internet. So couldn't do that even if I had Mario Kart at the moment.
But I'm sure that problem will be solved eventually. Hopefully.

Oh I'm sure it is a great game.
I'm more of a PlayStation person myself, but I don't mind some Nintendo once in a while. :-)
It's Xbox that I don't like. I don't know why, I've never been a fan of the Xbox. :shrug
But the internet problem should be solved shortly anyway. We'll be getting the wireless connector soon.
Super Mario Galaxy is definitely on my to do list. And Mad World too, I'm really interested in playing a game with such a unique visual style. And I certainly don't mind violence. I've been a gamer since I was 5 and I've been playing games all across the genre spectrum. And I've been playing T-rated and M-rated games since I was 6 or 7. :D
Not sure about the other two, though.
See, I'm not that into games comprised entirely of mini-games. They're fun but they bore me after a while.
I think Wii Sports is enough mini-games for me. I need real games now. :shades

I'm also more of Playstation fan, I play my PS3 more than anything. I don't own a 360 I'm also not big on XBOX.

I've always been the opposite; I've never got into any of the Playstations and have both Xbox's (but that's probably because I'm a Sega nut, and Sony drove them out of the hardware business :D )

I still remember how excited I was as a kid, at the thought of finishing-off my opponents in the original Mortal Kombat on the Megadrive. :halo

I too was a big Sega fan, still love my Dreamcast. In fact I just picked up the Sonic's ultimate genesis (megadrive) collection for my PS3 it has over 40 classic Sega games.

My girlfriend got a Wii for her birthday. We only have a few games including Wii Fit and Wii Sports. Even though I tend to be a hardcore gamer, I still enjoy playing the Wii. It's an entirely different way to play video games, so for me at least, the novelty hasn't worn off!

I used to be a fan of Sega too...but then they stopped making consoles and all following Sonic games never got close to the originals(in my opinion, anyway).
I still like a lot of Sega games, though. :yes

I wish Sega would just suddenly release an amazing new game console out of the blue. That would be wonderful :D

I totally agree on both points. The last decent Sonic game IMO was Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast. After that it went downhill. I bought Sonic on the 360 and traded it in the next day, it really was that bad. I would love it if Sega released a new games console, I'd bin my 360 in a flash :thumb

Yeah all the new Sonic games are just bad re-hashes of Adventure.

I wish they would release a new wii, perhaps super wii or wII or something. : ) Give people the option for better graphics but still the ability to use the nunchuck and remote. I hear the ps4 may have an interface like the wii's, at that point there isnt any point to use the wii, except for the mario games. : ) They could do the power wii and give games the ability to run on either console like pc games can reduce the settings to work on a slower computer. : )

Im not a huge fan of wii mario kart, but I do like Zelda, super paper mario, mario galaxy, and the Bigs is pretty fun to. Its the only way baseball games should be played, by swinning a remote. :D My wife also loves Tiger woods and will never switch to another system for it. The ability to swing the remote like a golf club makes the game much more enjoyable.

I wish they would release a duck hunt game though. :)

Mario Kart is awesome. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is amazing, but I didn't feel like swinging the wii-mote and nunchuku around all day just to do some simple sword swings, so I bought the GameCube version. It still looks really nice on a 42" big screen.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl gets ALOT of playtime on my Wii. I want Super Mario Galaxy. I also want Heatseeker, a flight sim with modern fighter jets. My dad got Blazing Angels, so now I wanna try flying at Mach 2 instead of old World War II planes' speed. Actually, I want more flight sims in general. hardly anyone plays those, though. :(

Mario Kart is a FUN game. We also have Tiger Woods golf, and it's ok. I don't play very many video games anymore, but Mario Kart is always fun.
