No Liars Will Be in Heaven

I was deceived by an apostate who taught humanism and picked and chose selective passages in the bible to back himself up. The jesus he preached wasn't Jesus the risen Son of God.

I didn't follow this false jesus, instead of being a follower I began to think God was really like what the apostate taught, so I hated that god and rebelled. Many embraced and loved the lie and had I embraced and loved the lie, Jesus would have given me over to delusion as he says he will in 2nd Thess., but instead He rescued me.

Don't think Christians cannot be deceived by a lying "bible" or an apostate deceiver, because if they stay in those lies long enough they will believe them. This is why the Lord tells us to come out from among them and touch not the unclean thing. It comes down to those who love and embrace lies and those who believe and love the truth, and the person of who this Truth is.

Today if Jesus walked into a church and called it an 'unclean thing' or a whitewashed tomb, He would be rebuked for being unloving, critical, and judgmental, by those who unknowingly aide the devil in his works. I watched this ignorance destroy a church and cause the babes in Christ to be led astray. Maybe this was a little off topic but maybe not.

That's a great testimony.

If the KJV is so important, why am I not seeing Christian love being shed abroad by those who claim it's superiority? :confused

Don't you think it's a show of love to be honest and warn your neighbor? I am sure that some have been saved with a "new age" bible because there is some truth in these bibles. But the way that satan operates is dis-information. He will give you so much truth that you are not gonna notice it when he slips in the lies. It's all about perversion with satan.

Yes, but gently, my friend...especially with other believers.

I'll be honest and tell you I've been out of the loop on these "new age" Bibles you speak of.
My very first experience with a false translation, though, happened when I was first saved.
Some JW's came to my door and I was so excited about Jesus I told them how I felt. They showed me their Bible...John 1:1, and it said, Jesus is "a God". Young as I was in the Lord...a big gong went off in my heart. The Lord led me straight away to an old Christian Jewish lady (we were shovelling snow off her roof), and I told her about it. She said, "Honey, let me tell you...", and proceeded to do just that.
If we stay in fellowship with other believers, we'll know to stay away from these false translations. It's a good thing you do to warn about dangers you see. Personally, I love my KJ, but some people have a hard time with it, and they love the version they have. We need to encourage our young believers to stay away from these "new age" versions, though...you're right about that. :yes

glorydaz, sounds like divine providence was working in your life. God is able to keep those who love Him and seek after Him. I allowed myself to be duped and spoonfed something that was poison; it took a supernatural move of God to wake me up and set me back on course, but that's another story.

We are completely out of the institutional church and the Lord has been most gracious and faithful in keeping us and giving us good fellowship. He is our everything.

Amen. I am glad to know that some people still have their sanity and are seeking a true experience with the Holy Ghost. I don't fellowship enough. I have tried different churches but I always find that they are not fully in the truth. I have found a church in Wisconsin via the internet that I would like to attend. But that's in Wisconsin.

What I had to learn was to feed myself on the word and in fellowship with the Lord Jesus daily, plus we read the word and pray together at home. After that was well established the Lord gave us a network of a few friends whose situation is similar to ours. It is so simple, we just fellowship and encourage each other in a informal way, in friendship.

If you can find just one friend who deeply loves the Lord and that you are free to call on anytime, you have something very valuable.

The Lord led me to a small fellowship when I was first saved. It was a New Testament, body ministry...just a tin can in the back for missionary contributions. Since then, I've been meeting in homes with different families from the same group. Tremendous teaching from the elders...we always have them. :thumb

Thank you for the encouragement that I needed. I am not sure what the Lord has in store for me but time will tell.

I'm not sure what was unloving about it, the fact is that the bible is being re-written by unregenerate apostates. I would rather stick with one of the older translations, although I don't see anything wrong with the NKJV and I use it.

You should really reconsider that decision to use the nkjv because it is a very clever deception. Clever, except there is an occultic symbol right on the front of the bible so that's a dead giveaway.

The 'Occult symbol' you are talking about is an ancient Christian symbol used to picture the Trinity.
Christian_Triquetra.png

There are many symbols of the trinity in Christianity. The Triquetra is a three-part interlocking fish symbol that symbolizes the Christian trinity. The word "trinity" comes from the Latin noun "trinitas" meaning "three are one." The trinity represents the belief that God is one Being made up of three distinct Persons who exist in co-equal, co-eternal communion as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The following verses express the concept of the trinity: Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Acts 2:32-33; John 10:30; John 17:11&21.

But don't let that stop you. Please continue with this KJV-Only nonsense. :salute

De:12:29: When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
De:12:30: Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
De:12:31: Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
De:12:32: What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

What does this mean?

Let me tell you something. God has asked us kindly not to worship Him in the same way that the heathens worship their gods. Why wouldn't we honor that? Why wouldn't we want to honor that? I can tell you why we should want to in one word, and that word is reverence.

Take off those dagon priest hats and cut out all of those "oral" traditions and do some real Bible study for yourselves Catholics, and I promise that you won't miss the idol worship or the reverence to the sun god via the symbols of the Catholic church. Nope, you won't miss it at all. Your worship can be pure, and that's not a burden by the law, that's the freedom of the Spirit, pure unadulterated truth. There is nothing better.

What burden ? Their is no burden of the Lord? There is only servitude.

I believe that speaks of being bound by the stone law.

Biblereader, welcome aboard! It's me, Vince. I'm assuming that you're the same person named "Biblereader" that I was friends with on another site.

If everyone who sins is not going to Heaven, then Heaven is going to have a very low population.

Population: God, Jesus, and the Angels

For after all... what purpose would these passages have then?

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Isaiah 1:18 "Come now and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."

Ephesians 1:7 "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."

Daniel 9:9 "The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him."
