When did God change His mind and decide that it would be okay for us to worship Him in a manner that pagans worship? Where did this idea come from?![]()
I realize that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that we are saved by grace and not through the letter of the law. Okay. I've got that part. But when did God change though? Even Jesus stated that God seeks those that worship in spirit and truth. That sounds like the God of the Old Testament to me.
Serving God is a pleasure and the law is good. That's how I feel about it.

Where did I ever say that we believe in Jesus and sin is not a concern anymore? I do not recall ever saying that. Think too many times there is misinterpretation of people's posts. I was merely saying that if we are to believe all liars are not going to be forgiven and go to Hell...then seeing as most, if not all of us have told a lie...thus making us all liars...then none of us are going to Heaven. Which also would contradict other parts of scripture.... All I am trying to say is that more or less, we are saved from the fires of Hell because of our faith in Jesus. But having faith in Jesus is not just a matter of simply believing, it is a matter of living for Jesus too.

ronniechoate34 said:There will not be any liar in heaven that didn't repent and work out their salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord Jesus Christ. People who do that tend to tell the truth more often than not. And if they do tell a lie they don't live it out, they repent and turn around.
It's these "new age" bibles that have caused most of this false doctrine to be taught.
Well, yeah, after all...the KJV is what Jesus read from, right? :gah
