Its just the age of deception. Many church and religious leaders preach a PC version of the gospel that unites everyone, like muslims and christians worship the same god.
Jesus said knowone comes to the Father(God) but through me.
Muslims choose not to go through Jesus, so there Father god cannot be the same as Jesus's Father God.

Point: Allah was always one form or the other of the Sun God, important when one worships the Only God, the God of gods, a jealous God, our God!
The Qu'ran is purportedly the word of Mohammad but he could neither read nor write, the book is not his. Mohammad was a revered General of a band of criminals that decided he wanted to be a Prophet and he approached both the Jewish and the Christian Believers to be anointed as such but both refused!
He took the one sun god and deified him, mixing in Jewish and Christian known attributes of God and reducing Jesus from the Second Person of the God Head to a lying prophet that never hung on the cross.

I don't think we worship the same God. Accepting Jesus as Savior isn't really a matter of opinion; it goes to the core of Christianity and The Good News. Sooo...I think this prof either got carried away trying to play nice and tolerant and progressive, or she doesn't believe in more traditional Christian doctrine.

Critical and oft not asked question. Without Jesus, would God be? I postulate, not for man! John 1:1-3 assures us that everything that is was created for us, by Jesus. No... No Jesus, no God!

Multiple gospels and different witness's all say Jesus was crucified, yet one man some 600 years later claims it false with no witness.
Who would you trust. A heap of different 1st century eye and second witnesses, all claiming the same thing, or a single man 600 years later, who claims it false from a voice in his own head with no backup witness to any of his claims and who was not even there.
If Jesus was not crucified the bible would say he was not crucified, and was stoned or hiden by God or whatever like other prophets. There is no need or reason for the bible or anyone to lie about it.

Islam is a cheap counterfeit of Christianity.
It (Islam) has a false god, a 600 winged angel, a drunken child molesting prophet, a paradise of virgin whores, and a crooked bible(s) that tell you to drink camel urine to feel better.

This one also shows him in his full compassionate, merciful glory: “The climate of Medina did not suit some people, so the Prophet ordered them to follow his shepherd, i.e. his camels, and drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they followed the shepherd that is the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy. Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. When the news reached the Prophet he sent some people in their pursuit. When they were brought, he cut their hands and feet and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron.” (Bukhari 9.76.5686)
And so drinking camel urine is just as much a matter of obeying Muhammad (as the Qur’an repeatedly exhorts Muslims to do; see 3:32; 3:132; 4:13; 4:59; 4:69; 4:80; 5:92; 8:1; 8:20; 8:46; 9:71; 24:47; 24:51; 24:52; 24:54; 24:56; 33:33; 47:33; 49:14; 58:13; 64:12) as is waging jihad and subjugating Infidels (see Qur’an 9:29). But this wily shop owner tried cutting costs by using his own product instead, and is now getting his comeuppance.
