If it matters to anyone....
Three homosexual women and one homosexual male were sitting together yesterday at work and I was next to them for about an hour as I heard them talk about their boyfriends and girlfriends. They even had pictures on their desks of their better halves.
It didn't really bother me that they were gay, but it did bother me that they would say some of the stuff they were saying. Not to be partial, but if was a bunch of guys talking about gals, I'd of been just as offended.
Funny thing about it was that one of their co-workers who was single was chatting with them and one of the homosexual gals made a comment to the straight gal and the straight gal replied, "You don't know me well enough to be talking to me like that" and it immediately became a sore spot with all the homosexuals.
What I took away from it was that the Homosexuals felt like they could talk to a straight gal as if she was also gay and that the straight gal had to accept it and you could feel the tension suddenly settle in.
We hear an awful lot about intolerance these days, but I don't like it when somebody thinks they have the right to impose their belief on another, and that's what the homosexuals were doing to this straight gal. You should have seen it and all the straight gal was saying was, "You don't know me well enough to talk to me that way", referring to her sexual preference.
In all, the straight gal navigated the conversation well... it could have turned ugly real quick. Me, I just kept my mouth shut and did what I was there to do.
