Non-OSAS and sleep

He who has begun a good work in you shall see it through to the end...

That's in The Bible, somewhere....lol.

I cling to that when I fear losing my salvation, or that I'm deceiving myself into thinking I'm saved (weird, huh?).

I think this thread is really helpful.

I sleep fine. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Cling to your Lord. Pray unceasingly. Repent daily. Do not waver in your faith.

There will be many in that day to say Lord Lord, and He WILL say depart from me, I never knew you. Those that He vomits out of His mouth are the hypocrites, that do not these things. It's easy to have faith when you do these things. God is merciful and longsuffering, but He will not be mocked.

So Christ_empowered you did not read my post # 10 :hips

Php_1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

That's not weird brother. you're on it.

lol, reba...I have a bad habit of skimming (and also forgetting) things that have been posted. :-)

We need to know we are saved, but we also need to know "how".

The How of salvation is Jesus Christ; His Life, His death, His resurrection, not ours. Our faith is in Him, not ourselves.

What I think many of us struggle with is not so much the "How", but the "Why?". You can know the how, but we can't really know the why. That is a privilege of God, and can only truly be answered in saying For His glory, and it is also the why reason for those that are not saved; for His glory.......... There is your fear and trembling, right there.
