Shall we call Muslems Christians? They believe in Jesus. Don't ostracize them.

Hmmmm. This is interesting. Ginger has just me to be a "phoney christian", i.e. not a Christian in this thread because I say that non-trinitarians and in particular a group named the Jehoviah's Witness's are not Christian". I ostracize them so to speak. Now let's draw some conclusions from this. The defining criteria for whether someone is Christian or not is not the nature of the God that they believe in but whether they think other people who believe in a God with a different nature than your God are still Christian. Further we should not ostracize groups of people who claim to be Christian, no matter what they think the nature of God is. If they say they are Christian then they are, that is unless they say some other group is not Christian. Take for instance the Southern Baptists. I know they would take a much harsher stand on the JW's than I would. They would say that all JW's are not Christian and will go to hell if they remain JW's. They would say this of all non-trinitarians I am quite certain. (I would not make this statement but would leave the judgement up to God. ) Therefore if Ginger is consistent in applying her critera for determining who is and isn't a Christian she would have to say that Southern Baptists are not Christian. She would have to ostracize them. Am I missing something Ginger? Is it true that only trinitarians who believe that non-trinitarians are Christian are Christian?

Brad,

wouldn't you agree that man and God are mutually exclusive entities?

Of course I do not agree.

1 Cor 1
25] For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
[26] For consider your call, brethren; not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth;
[27] but God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong,

Your intellect is truly dizzying. Open your mind my friend. Thanks for stopping by.

They are not calling themselves Christians, they are calling themselves muslims. 0.o

Not much gets by you ginger. I know that of course. But your question for the thread is are non-trinitarians unbelievers. Implying that a believer in Jesus, even if they don't hold to your God/Jesus theology is still a Christian. It seems to me that it makes little difference then if they want to be called a Christian or not. Muslems in some sense are not unbelievers. Of course I do not believe they are Christian. I am just trying to make a point and you don't seem to be getting it so I withdraw the question in hopes you will address my other post.

That is your convenient way to ostracize others even though non-trinitarians accept Jesus as Son of God and Savior of the world.

You are closer to the muslims because you kill others using God's name, That's what muslems are doing too.

Catholics' hypocrisy is still going on even though the methods are changing as the time goes on.

Whoa, wait a minute now. What are you accusing me of? :o I suggest you modify your post.

Are you going to answer the other rather long post about people who say non-trinitarians are not Christian, not being Christian.

Tess,

Your denomination is closer to the muslims because you kill others using God's name, That's what muslems are doing too.

Your accusing me of murder? And that's thess. And don't call me dear again. The hatred is showing through your posts now. Keep it up.'

Catholics have killed unfortunately. But it is not and has never been church policy or teaching to have anyone killed. It has been policy to have them dealt with according to the laws of the state and I will not hide from that since the Bible does not. Romans 13. You might want to read it.

Blessings

Tess,

Your denomination is closer to the muslims because you kill others in God's name, That's what muslims do too. Look what the mideast war is doing. Your denomination is supporting military.

It is? Our two Popes have acctually opposed the Iraq war. Perhaps you want to back your accusations up. Not that you usually do.

back to the topic at hand.

Dont sign with blessings either, I don't see much of God's love from your posts.

One of us is lying through the teeth. Only God can tell.

Let's try again. I'll condense it down as I know that post was a little long for you. Are trinitarians who believe that non-trinitarians are not Christian, Christian? Do you ostracize Southern Baptists and others who say Jehoviah's Witnesses and other non-trinitarians are not Christian?

Let's ask another question if I may. If a Jehoviah's Witness says a Baptist is not Christian is he a "phoney Christian"?

Let's not forget that the term "Lord of Hosts" is a military term for God and King David was a man of battle.

Romans 13 says that rulers are a terror to those who do evil and if you resist the powers then you are resisting God.

Well it’s obvious this topic is not going to go anywhere. All I see is one posting the same thing over and over and insulting another in the processâ€â€that is not constructive conversation.

Due to that fact this topic is now locked.

I take offense too... first off, his username is Thess, not tess, but I'm not offended by that. 8-)

I'm offended because I too, I support our military. Also, you didn't heed my warning in the other Forum. I asked you not point fingers at others personally. I think you ought to take a break from the Forums for a bit also.
