I do love this whole forum but I must admit my favourite part is the prayer request section.
Whilst I enjoy the lounge, chewing the cud, discussing theology which at times can be heated and over exuberant, learning, disagreeing and at times having fun but the prayer request is my favourite.
Why is it my favourite?
It's the heart of our family. It is a place of vulnerability and honesty. It's a safe place to come to without fear.
That's what family should be all about.
People offer prayers out of love for this forum family. Some of us send a prayer on the forum and some of offer prayer in their own homes.
It's a place of encoragement that gives hope. In a sense it's a place that we reach out to each other and say "I need help or someone I know needs help'" knowing that we won't be put down.
That's family, that's community.
When people pray for each other it's out of love from their heart for each other.
That's family, that's community, that's love.
John 13:34-35
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Much grace and love to you all my virtual friends, my virtual family.
You are truly amazing people, much loved by me and by our father.
Remember
John 17:23
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
