face it, nudity is another one of man's lies to himself, and to others. Nudity causes adultery, fornication, and confusion.
A family member is not to be naked in front of his children, or his relatives, nor is ANY person to be unclothed and walking around with other nudists.
Nudism, nudist camps, and all such, are a sin.
Is there a man alive who is able to be naked, and NOT think lustful thoughts, around other naked women and / or men, whatever his leaning is.
Nudism is another word, in my opinion, for pornography.
Nudity does not cause anything. The evil exists in the heart of the person.
God created man and woman and he would not create anything bad. It is sin that makes things bad. Let's not blame others for our own failings.
If we have lust in our heart when we see someone nude then we had best avoid that situation. That means being a caregiver, doctor or nurse is out. Surely they cannot be offended by nudity. If anything offends you then it isn't for you. It does not make it a universal truth, just because you cannot handle it. Others can handle it and we can be thankful that we have people to look after our needs when it requires us to be nude or partially exposed.
In Europe many women choose to bath topless. This isn't for sexual stimulation. It is for relaxation and comfort. Nobody thinks anything of it. It is considered natural and the breast isn't considered to be a sexual organ since both men and women have them. I have seen many flat chested women and big busted men, so you can be sure that this is the case.
For a nudist, being nude is normal. It isn't to see others naked or to have others see you. It is just for comfort and relaxation. Most people do not look all that appealing anyway when they are nude. It is partial nudity that is more stimulating. A tight skimpy bathing suit accentuates the body parts in question, creates allure and mystery. It is far more sexy as any negligee salesperson would be quick to point out.
I am not advocating nudism. It clearly isn't for everyone. But I really don't like it when people say that which God has created is bad. The human body is beautiful in all its forms, shapes and sizes. As an artist and photographer I can tell you why artists and photographers are drawn to the human form. It isn't for sexual stimulation. There is a grace and beauty that is moving and tells a story. It removes the artifice of clothes and shows more about the person and the soul. It is a story. Every wrinkle, line and scar has something to tell.
We could all be walking around nude today if Adam and Eve had not sinned and it would be natural and normal as breathing. We would not be disgusted or ashamed. God certainly was not offended by Adam and Eve's nudity. He was more disgusted with their adornment.
Clothing is a mask. It serves to hide who we are. Each piece of clothing has a purpose. It makes a statement about how we want to be presented to the world, not as we really are. Nudists that I have known see this as artificial. They want to do away with the pretensions and accept others and be accepted by them as God made them. I cannot fault their logic. Without clothing the banker cannot be told from the mechanic. You are forced to know the real person inside.
That being said, it isn't for all. Some people are deeply ingrained with fear and biases. They have been socialized to believe that it is wrong and that is fair. I also think that it is reasonable to believe that we can unlearn some of our prejudices. We just have to lay aside our preconceived notions and be willing to be open minded.
I think that our society has done an unfair number on women, in particular, but men as well. They are pressured to feel that their body image has to conform to the unreasonable standards of the media. Nudism is one way of realizing that true women and men come in all forms. Everything is good and nothing is bad.
At the very least, I hope that we are able reclaim the dignity and respect for the human body in all its forms that it deserves. We are God's masterpiece and none of us should forget it.
Blessings,
