I try to use the canvas bags as much as possible. I don't like the plastic bags and I try to be a little bit eco friendly.

I have a septic tank, but I think it is better than all the non-biodegradable plastic that we are throwing away. It all has to go somewhere.

What is your experience? Have to replace a septic system? I did, this year. It cost me more than I paid for my first house. :lol
 
Pump out,bleach kills the bacteria.

The soap I use is all non-chemical, environmentally friendly. I hope so anyway. There sure are a lot of weeds around our leach field.
I'm going to look for the issues I heard on this. I know that the more we must wash the more water and power are needed which may negate any benefit of clothe bags.we use plastic bags for trash cans from the grocery store
