Offense is taken. I say don’t pick it up.

And harboring ill feelings, leaves them in your harbor.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also

But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
I had a friend in the world who always said, G,D! and Jesus Christ! I took it for a while then one day I asked him.

John, you love your wife right?
Yeah, Of course.
Well how would you feel if every time something went wrong I said, Sarah damn! Or when I was upset I exclaimed, Sarah Smith!
He became quiet, and I didn’t see much of him after that.

I think peoples hackles go up when they perceive an affront against something they hold so dear. Something that is central, the core of their existence as pertains to their purpose on earth.

I ain’t saying it is wise to (Take) offense, but it most assuredly is human.

Growing up, confidence within ourselves, controlling our human nature seems to require a lifetime.

So lets not take offense when others take offense at us. What’s the benefit?

In Christ
