Secondly, Ted Haggard is one example of a gay (or maybe bisexual) parent.
Ted Haggard has now become an example showing us that we should all,
even more so, not be dependant on relationship with man, but to be dependant only on relationship with God through the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus living in and through us. Ted Haggard is an example for us all that we must ever so much constantly reinforce our total reliance on the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus and not on carnal thoughts.
Ted Haggard falling into such a sin is proof enough for showing everyone that even though him being a man of such a high position in life, it does not protect him any more or less than anyone else, but that it is only by way of the HOLY SPIRIT OF CHRIST that we are saved from sin. Ted Haggard is no different than anyone else who is still subject to sin and must stand firm, at all times, in relying on the Holy Spirit, instead of the carnality in man which leads to sin.
When man gives into his carnal mind rather than relying on the Holy Spirit, sin prevails. Yes, Ted Haggard is a lesson to us all, but not an example of permission to sin, but an example of what leads to sin, and an example of how we must always look to Christ Jesus in overcoming the temptations of the devil. Ted Haggard fell from grace into sin. He is a fine example of how fragile we are when we do not rely totally on the Holy Spirit of Christ.
So your garbage example, Quath, is not going to convince anyone here that bi-sexual or homosexual sin is something that is to be given into. It is a carnal mind-set, And carnal man is open to transgression against itself without thought of consequences. All Sin seems pleasurable for the moment, Satan makes sure that carnal man focuses on the moment and ignores the consequences, but the consequences of it are evident sooner or later. Ted Haggard's secret life destroyed his career and deeply hurt his family and his community. Now was giving into that carnality more important than destroying his life? Don't tell me society should accept his behavior and let it be an okay thing for him to have done! Godly morals are set in place for good reason. Self Discipline is necessary in order to overcome sin. Satan makes sure he blurs the mind so as to get the person to set aside any thought of Godly morals when he comes to tempt. And it is by the HOLY SPIRIT of Christ Jesus that self discipline is even possible in overcoming the temptation to sin. God never said we would not be tempted any longer! But Jesus came so that we might overcome sin. Ted Haggard didn't keep his eyes on Jesus! Ted Haggard didn't take that temptation to the cross, but gave into the temptation of carnal sin. Ted Haggard did not rely totally on God. He turned his back on God. And so, God gave him over to his ungodliness. Doesn't mean the consequences of that sin would not catch up to him. Ted Haggard disgraced himself. God warned him well enough. It was Ted Haggard who ignored God. Don't blame God for bringing disgrace to Ted Haggard. And don't think God will not ever forgive Ted Haggard for what he did if Ted Haggard truly seeks forgiveness. 70 times 7. God knows we are all a work in progress. It is the rebellious who rejects repentance that does not find the mercy or grace. Knock and the door shall be opened.
You Quath, must learn the value of forgiveness of sin and the grace that is given to us of which we must not loose sight of. Ted Haggard is human and therefore no less of a man than anyone else. I'm sure he is coming to terms with what he did.
It's a very sad thing when Christ is mocked, and so then some people take on this thought that just because one person or a few other persons do so against the teachings of Christ and Godly principals, that it somehow becomes okay for them to do whatever abominations they want to do.
These anti-Christ types think they can use the poor examples of others as if it is the go ahead and an excuse to do whatever abomination they want. Shame on you Quath. Your anti-Christ atheistic thinking is totally against Godly morals. What makes you think your anti-Christ ideas are going to win anyone over to your anti-Christ beliefs, especially on a Christian forum? Quath, you reject God and shake your fist at him and promote sin on this forum. I have no idea why you are allowed to continue to promote your anti-Christ thinking here. It is a free world, yes, but your anti-Christ ideals are worthless here. You are like a wild bear come out of the woods to invade the village and desecrate and destroy all that it touches. Most of your postings are nothing but the promotion of sin. And I think it a shame that you spend three years on this forum like some town drunk, who is an alcoholic no one can do anything with because he refuses to sober up. I pray you learn how to have a "personal" relationship with the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus who teaches what redemption from sin and salvation from sin is all about. It is by His stripes that we are healed. You focus on the promotion of sin, I pray Jesus come into your life and show you why he died on the cross for your sins, How His Holy Spirit is the only way to overcome the sins of the past present and the future. I pray you learn about Jesus and His Holiness and stop being the devil's advocate who does nothing but condemn and shake his fist at the wrath of God and promote a sinful behaviors. God has every right to wipe out sin. And the devil has no right to promote it. The wicked unrighteousness of the devil will not prevail against the goodness of the Lord God. You do not understand the wrath of God, so you shake your fist at it like a drunken alcoholic stands in the middle of the road and shakes his fist at the beam of light from an oncoming car.

Look only to The Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus! Repent of all sin and Look To the Saving Grace of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. Let Jesus Christ be your Holy Redeemer.
