On The Image of God (w/ Stove Bolts)

don't see God 'empowering the earth,' rather, the earth was empowered by God and there's a difference.
Hello Brother in Christ. Wow, I had forgot about our previous conversation! Welcome back!

I really like what you said here and I find myself agreeing. Thank you for this shift in perspective. It’s good.

When God formed the man from the dust of the ground the man was lifeless, just dead. Scripture says man 'became a living soul." However, the first man was created body, soul, and human spirit (not the Holy Spirit. There's is no atonement so the Holy Spirit is not 'in him' as it were.)
Sure, I understand. I do see it a little differently, and that’s ok.

If I may, animals were created but what distinguished Adam was when God blew the breath of life into him. I take this as the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and our NT writers picked up on this when the Holy Spirit was breathed into them as well.

You said a few other things that really sparked my interest, and I appreciate your insight on the matter. God willing I’ll try to add more tomorrow morning.

Welcome back and thanks for your thoughts.
