What point is that? He clearly does not accept the God of the bible. He doesn't accept the idea that if join a certain denomination or say the right words or even if you profess some belief that somehow this God is going to give you a reward upon your death. All he is saying is that he is in awe of the complexity of life itself and attributes that to a higher intelligence. You seem to think that if one accepts a higher power then somehow that person is more valuable and that is simply not the case. Most of the founding fathers were deists and accepted this premise in their life. I don't think any atheists , deists, or agnostics that routinely come here including myself would say emphatically that it is impossible for an intelligent directive to not have been involved in our beginning. Let me clarify further that it is life itself we are talking about not necessarily the entire universe. I don't think it out of the realm of possibility that a higher intelligence could be responsible for life as we know it. What that higher intelligence might be is open for debate and I don't think it has to be supernatural.
Well, if you can find it mirrored on a different website then be my guest. I'm not going to let people keep up with a false perception of someone just because the truth is on an atheist site.
