Ordain...Predestine

What's the difference between the two?

Webster says:

Ordain = to establish in a particular office or order

Predestinate = to appoint or ordain beforehand by an unchangeable purpose.

From what i gather is, You are set to do a certain job or fill a space in a job, you are picked by some for that reason. Now before hand maybe even before the company was started you were chosen to be in that position. :wink:
