Dear John, I'd be willing to supervise this subject if you should have a change of heart.
I believe I could make it work.

Who's John?Dear John, I'd be willing to supervise this subject if you should have a change of heart.
I believe I could make it work.
JohnDBWho's John?
Oh. That John.JohnDB
He was before your time
Yeah. Your signature line does kind of give it away. Not at all.
I would never force my beliefs on anyone, and my signature doesn't place me on one side or the other.
You just think that.
See what I mean?Yeah. Your signature line does kind of give it away.
OSAS is a way of life.
I'm not even sure what that means.
Good night Gracie.See what I mean?
It's all over your head.
Say good night Gracie...
You never had a chance anyway.Oh. That John.
I remember him.
So, yeah, I could just imagine you supervising a OSAS thread.
Just look at your signature line....
Those on my side of the fence wouldn't stand a chance!
Could you PLEASE show me some verses that state it is impossible to abandon our salvation, love for God, etc.You never had a chance anyway.
It goes something like this.Could you PLEASE show me some verses that state it is impossible to abandon our salvation, love for God, etc.
Where does it state that we are saved forever NO MATTER WHAT.
I'm not sure you understand what OSAS really means.
It clearly means that once a person is saved,,,they will be saved forever...
NO MATTER WHAT.
Even if they live a life of sin...
Even if they decide to stop worshipping/obeying God...
Well, Rollo, not everyone that calls themselves a Christian lives the way you do.It goes something like this.
I'm God, do what I tell you to do or else.
Yes sir, I'm on my way to obeying you always.
And the Holy Spirit says, "and with a little help from your friends....."
No, I think you are exaggerating the point.Well, Rollo, not everyone that calls themselves a Christian lives the way you do.
They mistakenly believe that they will be saved forever NO MATTER WHAT.
Don't you think this is a dangerous false assumption that may lead many to the hot place?
You're right. No, I think you are exaggerating the point.
There are not many people who think that way.
You only think so.
To prove my point, take a poll..
What are you waiting for? You're right.
There are not many that believe they are saved forever no matter what. No matter how they live...even a life of sin.
But the ones who do think this are in danger for their soul.
As to a poll...not on this forum, but on other forums I've been told this very clearly. I've even been told that it's an affront to God to think that I could help Him in my salvation by obeying Him...or words to that effect.
I think this is called faith only.
IOW, a person only needs faith...no works or good deeds required.
This is not what Jesus taught.
What does it mean that we are set free? What are you waiting for?
Today is the day of God's favor.
Today is the day of your salvation!
Today let’s look at Isaiah chapter 49. Today’s message title is “Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation”. Verse 8 says, “This is what the LORD says: ‘In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you.’”
Isaiah prophesized that the Messiah, the anointed one, would come to set Israel, which was captive to Babylon, free. Just as the prophecy said, in 538 B.C., 70 years after Israel was captured and deported by Babylon, Israel was set free by the Persian King Cyrus. This liberation was God’s favor and salvation.
Also this was a pattern of the liberation of people captive as slaves to sin being set free by God’s Savior, Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul quoted this passage and then said, “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” (II Cor. 6:2) This liberation is the real favor of God and salvation in the New Testament. “The time of God’s favor” (II Cor. 6:2) and salvation is now.
