That's putting it mildly.Hi Pat
The question I asked was formulated from the latest issue of the Salt Lake City Messenger. Someone is not telling the truth!
This is the best reply yet to my first post. It is well thought out and expressed. Thanks. You can obey your conscience and not be a Christian, nor are you following Christ. You are only following Jesus when you accept Him and His teachings. Your conscience has been placed in your spirit by God, but that doesn't determine whether you accept Him.
That's putting it mildly.
Thank you. I praise God for putting the right words on my lips and in my heart. Glad I could help. This is the best reply yet to my first post. It is well thought out and expressed. Thanks.
I also hesitate to call anyone a liar. I searched their website for such a quote and couldn't find it. Did you learn of this from someone else quoting from that web site or did you see it there yourself? I think this could just be a misunderstanding of what they may have said. I will not hesitate, however, to state that the idea of LDS apostles being paid a million dollars from church tithing funds has no basis in truth. I am personally close enough to that situation to know this is a laughable claim.Yes, I put it mildly by design. I'm not accustomed to calling one a liar unless I know. I would like to suggest you contact the Salt Lake Messenger about the matter, I'm sure you are familiar with it and I would like to know which side of the issue has lied.
