Outside the Garden of Eden

The Garden of Eden is/was (I don't know if it is still in existence) a portion of the earth or the universe.
The animals and plants, water bodies etc were made for Adam and his wife. Yes!

Don't we think outside of Eden life existed (i.e before the two sinned or whilst they were in the Garden). That would mean there possibly were living things (plants and animals) outside the Garden. If not, the two would have died of starvation after they were sent away from the Garden.

Yes, it's easy to believe there was plant life and animals outside the garden of eden.
God put Adam inside the garden because that's where the tree of life was.

Yes life existed outside of Eden.

Genesis 1:11-12 Then God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in themâ€; and it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:20 Then God said, “Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.â€

Genesis 1:24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kindâ€; and it was so.

There is no reason to believe that creation was restricted to Eden.

Excellent intervention. Thanks:)

According to Rabbinical Midrash there were people outside Eden as well. At the very least, according to Midrash, there was Lilith. Lilith was the first woman that God made, at the same time as Adam, but whom Adam rejected as she was a bit too uppity for him. So maybe Cain, Abel & Seth didn't marry their sisters after all? Maybe Lilith was already pregnant when she was cast out of Eden and her children married Eve's children?

Just for clarity, I do not really accept that Midrash and that part of the Torah as literal truth.

the "Eden" actually is the Grace of Lord God, while the expulsion from the Eden is the fall from grace

Galatians 5:4 "whosoever of you are justified by the law(i.e. by the human religion); ye are fallen from grace."
