Overcoming persecution and tribulation

Can a Christian overcome persecution and tribulation? Some seem to me so powerful to be attacked by the enemy. I love it when he said: I have finished the race

This is a powerful responce. But can a person not face it at all? Someone says he's too big for persecution (i.e he can't be persecuted). Kind of has grown above it - in the Lord.

I remember Christ's sufferings

Things can get pretty bad when you are under attack. You realize you have to trust God or you have nothing.

No. But God can. And God delivers us through persecution and tribulation, even if we do not trust Him to do so. I believe, however, that lack of faith makes the trial last longer.

Paul knew persecution and tribulation seven times seven fold. Yet he never lost faith or trust and hope in God. Amazing. And yet we struggle. Paul had seen Christ personally, on the Damascus Road. If we will concentrate on our own salvation experience, I believe we can all say the same: We have seen God on our own Damascus Road, and that should be enough to carry us through.

Yeah. This reminds me of the mighty hunter who sold his birthright! He couldn't conquer hunger. Frailty!
