I have another question for everyone.

Do you think the earth will be destroyed when Jesus comes back?

Thank you. :D

Destroyed by whom, by man or Jesus? If you mean by man, then No. Jesus will return in time, just before mankind destroy the earth, but as the Bible says those days will be cut short for the sake of the elect/God's people. God will never allow mankind to come to that state if His people were going to be killed along with everyone. Just as God would not destroy the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, if enough righteous people were there so it will be in that day.

God would rather the wicked live if it means saving the righteous from being cut off from the earth. God will not destroy the wicked but He will punish them for there wickedness....He will punish them and then He will then save them. Of course I'm not saying that everyone will want to be saved; some will chose their old ways (the way of the Devil) and will be destroyed, because they hate God's way.

So earth will be paradice earth? Who will live in it? How about the heaven? who will go to heaven and who will live on earth? Why doesnt Jesus talk about the paradice earth in the NT?
?

I love your questions; it shows that you are seeking the truth. Who will live on the earth? The Bible tells us that the saints will live and rule over the earth with Jesus. Jesus and the saints will rule over those who were not saved before Jesus returned. They will teach humanity God's way and the earth will be at peace....nations will learn to live love each other and live in harmony. The Bible never said that heaven was our reward; it says that the meek will inherit the earth. But of course we will be in heaven in spirit, because God will be in us and we in Him, and were ever God is there we will be too, but physically speaking we will be on the earth. We will have a spiritual body; notice I said a spiritual body and not a spirit body. The Bible does not say we will have a spirit body, because that would not make sense.....spirits do not have a body. Only physical beings have a body. Ultimately, God the father will also come and live on the earth, with His sons.

So we will live on the earth and rule the universe with Jesus for ever; our body will be indestructible, not needing food, water and air to live for example. We will be able to go any place and travel any distance with out the need to a vehicle....nothing will be impossible for us because we will be like Jesus. So our home will be this earth, but it will not look like it does now.....it will be made new.

We will expand the kingdom of God for ever; the kingdom of God will not be limited to the earth, but will be expanded to all the now lifeless planets, that God created for a reason. We will do what God has been doing from the beginning; creating and sustaining the universe and populating it with life....we are children of God, so we will be involved in our Father's business....which happens to be the creating business. God is not a God of idleness; God intends for us to work as He and His first begotten Son has been working. But because we will have an immortal body, we will never get tired, hungry, feel pain or be weak.

I have a Bible study on this topic but its way to long to post on this forum, but if you or anyone is interesed just let me know....its mind boggling when one really understand it. I realize that many of what I’m saying will seem strange and far fetch to some, but then again truth can be stranger then fiction.

Thank you BF, do you belong to any denomination?

It seems that you are saying that there will be no judgment day and people will be continually doing their business as usual. Jesus says that if we don't believe in Him we will perish. You seem to skip this part. According to the Bible, all wicked will be wiped out. I am sure you know what I am talking about.

No that's not what I'm saying; on the contrary that Bible says that the saints will judge the world. It is during the time when Jesus returns when the saints will judge the world. But this judgment will not be where the saints will be condemning people.....judgment does not mean to be condemned, it can be but it does not always mean that.

So no it will not be business as usual....wickedness will not be tolerated, but at the same time anyone who wants to seek God and His ways will be shown, accepted and taught. God is a merciful God; He is far far more merciful than anyone of us really know….we have a lot to learn about God’s love and mercy toward even those who have not repented and cannot repent unless God grants them repentance. Realize this; you would not have any desire towards God unless God had extended His grace to you. Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the father that sent me draws him and I will raise him up in the last day.†Never forget that it is not your goodness that caused you to repent, but God’s goodness that lead you to repentance. When you really understand this you will not ever condemn anyone for not repenting, just like you would not condemn a crippled man because he is in a wheel chair; rather you have compassion on him because you know he is incapable of walking.

And yes I do belong to a denomination; here is the Church's site that I belong to http://www.WCG.org

Re: Paradise earth

You still seem to be skipping something big.

Jesus says "for God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." You see, if we don't believe in Him we will perish. You seem to be skipping this perishing part. You sound like New Age or Universalist.

If you take scriptures in isolation of the others your understanding will be very limited. Yes that's what Jesus said, and it does not contradict anything that I have said. The people, who will be alive and are not converted at Jesus' return, will have their mind open to receive Jesus.

Not convince; well here are some prophecies about the nations coming and worshiping Jesus.

Psalms 86:9 (ASV)
9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify thy name.

Isaiah 2:1-5 (ASV)
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many peoples shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
4 And he will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

Isaiah 66:18-24 (ASV)
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: the time cometh, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and shall see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an oblation unto Jehovah, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith Jehovah, as the children of Israel bring their oblation in a clean vessel into the house of Jehovah.
21 And of them also will I take for priests and for Levites, saith Jehovah.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Jehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith Jehovah.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the dead bodies of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

We don't have this at this time, because this is yet to happen; this will take place after Jesus has returned and is ruling from Jerusalem with His family.

Re: Paradise earth

I've answered that question, but it could be that you’re trying to understand what I'm saying while holding to the prevailing view that most Christians believe will happen, to people who have died with out being saved. What most Christians believe will happen to the man or woman who did not repent during their life time is incorrect.

There are several resurrections mentioned in the Bible; the first is the resurrection of the saints, the second is the resurrection of the person who died with out repenting; that person will be raised from the dead and God will grant them repentance. The third resurrection is for the incorrigible wicked; they are the ones who after they were offered salvation still refuse to change. The vast majority of people who lived and died and never repented during there life time are not in this category.

As I said before those who refuse to repent during the rule of Jesus will be destroyed; at the end of the white throne judgment (this will take place after the 1,000 year rule) when Jesus will be separating the sheep from the goats (the righteous from the wicked); (during this time all the righteous men and women from the time of Adam down to the time of Jesus' return are already in the kingdom of God and had been ruling with Jesus, they are not among those who will be judged in the white throne judgement) this is where the wicked will be destroyed.....they will be no more.

This is where God will now create a new heaven and a new earth, and where the former will not be remembered or come to mind. The entire earth will be set a blaze; every thing on the serface will be consumed, exept those of us who have been glorfied; the fire will have now power to hurt them, but the wicked to be consumed in it though

BF, your reasoning sound reasonable. Thanks for your clarification.

So the earth will be paradise just like Adam and Eve lived in before they sinned?

When Jesus returns He along with the saints will set out to repair the damage that mankind under the influence of Satan has done. He will start with the Children of Israel, who were brought back into slavery; they will be a light to the Gentile nations. The nations will see how God has blessed Israel and desire to be blessed as they; this is when the nations will say, "Let us go up to the mountain of the Lord's house, and He will teach us His ways."

During this time as the nations voluntary bring themselves under the loving rule of God, the earth will be at peace; nations will be inspired to build up and not tare down; everything that is done will be what's in the best interest for all, including the environment....yes the earth will become a paradise.

But ultimately though, all of that will be burnt up and the surface of the earth will be recreated a new. But this will not happened until the last set of human being have attained glorification; when this has happened, then God will create a new heaven and a new earth. The new heaven and the new earth will not look anything like the old.....there will be no more sea in the new earth, and all the animals, trees and everything living thing that can be killed by fire would have been destroyed when the earth was set a blaze, except the glorified saints, and Jesus of course.

Nothing about the past will be remembered or even come to mind; God in effect is about create a new beginning, as if the first had never been. It is necessary for God to do this, since remembering the past would bring on sad memories of friends and loved ones that chose to reject such an awesome offer and lost out on a glorious future....there will never be a moment of sadness in God's kingdom; total and ever increasing joy for ever.

there will be no more sea in the new earth, and all the animals, trees and everything living thing that can be killed by fire would have been destroyed when the earth was set a blaze, except the glorified saints, and Jesus of course.

The Garden of Eden had animals and trees. There is not going to be any trees and animals?

As far as I have studied in the scriptures I have not read anywhere, where there will be any animals or trees on the new earth. The new earth from the little that is described in the Bible will be far more beautiful than even the Garden of Eden.

I thought God is giving us what we lost because Adam and Eve sinned. We will start all over with Jesus with perfect bodies.

What God created in the beginning (man and woman and the Garden of Eden) was just the beginning; God has something far far greater than what Adam and Eve were before they sinned. God created mankind to rule the universe with Him. God said that those who overcome will inherit all things....everything that belongs to God He has given to us (mankind). Jesus told the disciples that it's the Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom....God is and has given us His kingdom. God has not just given us His kingdom, but He has also given us eternal life; eternal life is uncreated life; its the same life that God has. Angels do not have eternal life; they have immortal life, but the two are not the same.....one is created that other is not. The Garden of Eden was just like a testing ground to see how well we (Adam and Eve) are able to use the little ability that God gave them; which will tell how we will do when we are given infernally greater power.

God had eternally decided that mankind would share in His glory, and He has proven to us through His Son, Jesus, who became a man, and now sits on His Father's throne ruling over all things. Jesus is our destiny; because as the Bible says, we will be like Him because we will see Him as He is. You want to know who you are? Look at Jesus.

But I know that the Bible talks about the animals being there; lions and all fierce animals will be tame. You seem to be skipping a lot.

Yes but that's during the millennium, but what I'm talking about is after that. I'm talking about what the earth will be like when we have a new earth.....there will be no animals in the new earth.

Thanks BF,

I will be asking many more questions and I hope you help me out. :D
