i found what looked like either a hand rolled cigarette or the tail end of a joint in my kitchen. i don't have people over, except my parents and I guess the maintenance people have a master key, but...i haven't asked for anything recently.

so...im hoping im just paranoid. i did find two very wet cigarette butts outside my door yesterday. i didn't really care, i just tossed them. maybe somehow a part of one of those is in the counter, not in the trash? I dunno...

ok. i guess I Just get...paranoid, lol. when I lived in an apt. in a college town not far from here, id come home sometimes and my place reeked of reefer. true story. so, this isn't baseless paranoia, but...

When you carry in groceries, do you set them on the ground to unlock your front door? And then put them on the kitchen counter to unload? Maybe one around the front door got stuck to the bag?

Have you changed or rekeyed your locks since moving in? Always a must for peace of mind in rentals.

Set em up. Im wondering if neighbors had a key, and now they moved...maybe their pothead kid is exploring while you are gone.

So leave a few things out and take notice exactly where you leave them...then see if they move.
