i just hope nothing happened and/or they're angry at me. i dunno. i dont mean to be needy. i just wanted to say hey, then they never called back, never returned my call, didn't return the texts.

i dont know what's going on, and its a lil bit...disconcerting. i saw them yesterday, spoke to them yesterday, too, so...i think we're cool (?).

That's good that you have such a great relationship with your parents. My dad has been dead for years and my mom won't talk to me anymore.

saw them today. predictably, mama is softer on me than dad. dad's nice, though...don't get me wrong. he's a good man, too.

i do hope dad can retire soon(ish). i knew mama's job was miserable, at times...long story, but working with pretentious, self-important, well-educated people who will backstab each other for just a lil more (money, power, prestige, status) gets tiresome. i think any and every job has office politics, but...this place was the pits. they brought in a guy from colorado to change it up, make it better, get people to be professional...

he broke his contract and headed back to where he came from. LOL.


so, she's outta the pits, dad's still working and he seems to like his career and all, but i think he'd enjoy his house and retirement more, especially with the younger, ambitious people surrounding him. ugh.

ok, kinda rambling. i think im for realsies growing up (no, really), at long last. God is good!
